Tab Switching Between Chrome and Firefox
Although, I visit the lifehacker website to read some interesting articles, but when they mention that all lifehacker readers knew about what I be talking about next, I was like, “I did not know this.” Anyway, lifehacker mentions about being able to move one tab to another using Chrome and Firefox. Also you can move tabs to Internet Explorer 7 and 8, Safari 4B1, but not Opera though.
However, this is definately a great feature for web designer when it comes to browser compatibility check, because they could keep the browsers open in a minimized state, unless your dual monitoring, to move a tab to all the browsers. Granted, just hitting the refresh button could be quicker, but still it is another tool that can be use to quickly move between web browsers for testing purposes.
Now there is one thing though, unlike the tabs with the other browsers, with Chrome you need to press and hold the Bookmark Icon (star) and then drag it over to the other browsers, and the reason why is that because if you pull the Chrome tab you be making another Chrome instance and over bookmarking it to the desktop.
