Microsoft Sticks It to the European Union

Who would have that after many years of lawsuits that Microsoft finally can screw over the European Union and get away with it.  It would seem that because EU cried for the removal of Internet Explorer from Windows 7.  So Microsoft complied and decided that since they had to remove IE8 from the operating system that they would double the price tag for Windows 7 over there.

Windows 7 Week Day 2: Get Those Features On XP/Vista

Ever since Windows 7 beta came out, there were features and little programs that everyone wanted to use on XP or Vista or rather some people created the software equivalents for people to download and use.  To keep things simple, I point you to the various websites that describe the software packages and how to set them up and save a bit of time from reading to much about them.

Windows 7 Week Day 1: Price Tag

Lets kick off Tuesday with a Windows 7 week, though this time I think it is possible to get a full week out out of this and so to make up for yesterday’s lack of post it will be double the fine today.  First up, the pre-order price tag that has become big news in recent days and why is it big news?  Well Microsoft has made the upgrades 50% off, OH MY GOD!!, (500 orders later)…Noooo I got bamboozled by Microsoft’s cheap tricks again, thats right Microsoft has set …

Movie Review: Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen

Just got back from seeing Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen and I have to say that this movie is more superior to the first one in so many ways.  Also I have a few words for Roger Ebert after my review of this movie.  So what I can tell you is that this movie is set two years after the first and the battle on Earth between the humans/Autobots and Decepticons is well underway and with a warning that the Fallen is coming.  That is where the story begins and …

Microsoft Security Essentials Beta – Get your Copy Today!

Today is the big day, Microsoft has put out a beta version of its free anti-virus software.  Of course, you have to fill out the survey and join Microsoft Connect, lame, to get this download and as we speak I am scanning my computer, crosses fingers that this software gets something or I be really disappointed.

Jon & Kate Equals Morons

Although I tried to stay away from reality TV as much as possible, both in discussion it here or anywhere, but the big news and not much of a shocker, Jon and Kate are splitting up awwwww.  OF course, when I was talking to the misses this morning about her best description of me was “twisted happy” or something close to it.  Although I do not take joy in families breaking up, but I took joy in this because they deserve to get divorce and going through a messy …

Internet Explorer 8 Campaign

Even though I gave praise for Microsoft and its food campaign, it seems that the big headlines this week is the comparison Microsoft is making with Internet Explorer 8 and everyone else.  interestingly enough you be surprised by the results….ok not really but yeah IE8 wins in all the categories, shocking I know but at least Microsoft was gracious enough to give some ties with other browsers.

Microsoft Donates Eight Meals For Each Internet Explorer 8 Download

It would seem Christmas comes early this year and who do we thank for this Microsoft, and the question is why must there be something attach in order to help the needy?  Don’t get me wrong it is a great gesture and all, but shouldn’t a multi-billion dollar company being this already?

Old School Review: Megaman 2

Though I was going to do all of these in just six days, stuff came up and had postponed my next game review of the Megaman franchise.  While it is raining and my sexy woman is singing to me I thought I would get the second game in.  Now if memory serves me correct, it does, this was the game that introduce me to the Megaman series and it was quite a difficult game, sure I finally found out the right order to beat each boss.  However, that doesn’t mean …

War of The Operating System

This post is a bit out of the blue because it is referring to my blog stats.  I was looking at the various operating systems being used to visit my site and I have to say that those are some very interesting stats.    In all I have about 27 different operating systems with various sub-type operating systems (Playstation 3, Wii) visiting my website and reading my various articles and what not.  So what is the point of this article?  Well I wanted to show you how varied we still …
