The Loss of Honajivi

Today, I found out from my misses, that Honahara Uttarajivi had passed away after a valient and brave fight.  When I woke up around 3 pm and then turn my computer on, my misses informed me that Jibi was gone.  Luckily in those 3 days I got to see her, watch her move around, watch her feed, heard her meow.  Though I will never get to hold her, getting to see her do all those things is just as good and although I had finish this little sig for her, …

Honahara Jivi aka Hopeful Survivor

Around 6 am this morning the misses and I found out two more kittens passed away and while she was in shocked I was deeply sadden and angry.  Sadden from the loss and angry at their mother and I know I shouldn’t be as my misses told, but still it hurts to find out a mother has given up.
That is why I named her Honahara Jivi or short for Honahara Uttarajivi or Hopeful Survivor.   She has survived the first two days of life and through this troubling time she finally …

I am A Grandpa Or Rather We Have Kittens

Well I just found out the misses and I have grandchild from our little girl Diana and the unknown homewrecker who knocked her up (grrr).  There were four kittens but sadly we lost bachca a few minutes later and so he will be buried tomorrow.  Other then that the three kids are doing fine, heck we already know one is going to have some black hair on it.

Movie Review: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

So I saw Harry Potter last night and since I never read the book I was pleasantly surprise, ok not really as knew what happen in the book thanks to a few Potter readers.  However, what I found the most interesting is that for one of the darkest books in the series it sure was cheery with a lot of comedy.  Trying to figure out why it was important for horny teens to be the main focus of this movie as I doubt the book really talk about it that …

Software Review: VIPRE Antivirus Software

I came across this software today and I thought I would try it out and see if this new slick and cool anti-virus/spyware would be fast and not a resource hog as they say they it is.  After a quick installation, reboot and definition update, and a configuration settings it was time to get down to business on this soft.  Small note I was working with Definition version 5261.  Although I have McAfee security suite running, I will mention that in the configuration of the software that it will mention …

Old School Review: Mega Man 3

It is still July and I have a few weeks before I register for classes and about two months before I begin a very grueling school schedule. So I thought I get it on with some Mega Man 3 which is by far one of the longest games in this franchises history and I tell you why. Not only do you go through 8 original bosses but you almost have to fight Mega Man 2 bosses as well on top of 6 stages of Dr. Wiley hell as well.
Yeah it …

Gaming In The Clouds

I thought I would talk about something I never really thought until now or did not realize it until this morning while I sleeping.  That the gaming industry would be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the cloud and why do I say that? Well, look at the millions who play online games across the world and the raw power and bandwidth that is used on a daily basis is immeasurable or rather in the petabytes (1000 TB) or exabytes (1000 PB).  So yeah, we are talking millions of dollars …

10 Free, Must-Have Windows Security Downloads

Good ole security software,  it always gives you that warm fuzzy feeling that your computer is safe from all those bad people who want to ruin your life in form or another.  Of course, those paid programs has made computer security a billion dollar business in the last five to ten years, but in those crop of paid programs some great free ones have come up that were on par with the paid stuff or even better.  So my wonderful friend at PCWorld, well not really my friends, but …

Twitter Suggested for Nobel Peace Prize

This past week it was suggested by a man name named Mark Pfeifle, a former aide for George W. Bush, came up with the idea that after the events that happened in Iran, Twitter should be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize.  The reason why is that Twitter became the central hub for reports and updates of the riots that were going the day after the election.  Twitter became the voice of the riots after Iran banned all reporters and news agencies from reporting these riots and all the …
