When Windows 7 was first announced back in 2008, everyone was speculating how many versions their would be this time. Due to the fact that Vista came out with six versions which annoyed pretty much everyone because each version had more features then the other and the fact they got more expensive as you got closer to Vista Ultimate. Then back in February, one website announced that their would be six versions to Windows 7, which again pretty much put everyone in an uproar once again.

Who would have that after many years of lawsuits that Microsoft finally can screw over the European Union and get away with it. It would seem that because EU cried for the removal of Internet Explorer from Windows 7. So Microsoft complied and decided that since they had to remove IE8 from the operating system that they would double the price tag for Windows 7 over there.

In a interesting twist into the browser wars it would seem that there are rumors going around about the longevity of Microsoft’s most infamous browser.
