I came across this software today and I thought I would try it out and see if this new slick and cool anti-virus/spyware would be fast and not a resource hog as they say they it is. Today is the big day, Microsoft has put out a beta version of its free anti-virus software. Of course, you have to fill out the survey and join Microsoft Connect, lame, to get this download and as we speak I am scanning my computer, crosses fingers that this software gets something or I be really disappointed.

On the eve of Windows 7 Microsoft plans to roll out some special, free Anti-Virus service. Of course, most of us laugh hysterically at the thought it would work successfully. I have to admit though that even though it is Microsoft I am still a bit surprised that they are not making people pay $300 for it or some other outrageous price.

On Sunday, Lifehacker.com publish a post about the 5 best Malware removal tools, which based on a post about what everyone’s favorite tool was.
