Microsoft Sticks It to the European Union

Who would have that after many years of lawsuits that Microsoft finally can screw over the European Union and get away with it.  It would seem that because EU cried for the removal of Internet Explorer from Windows 7.  So Microsoft complied and decided that since they had to remove IE8 from the operating system that they would double the price tag for Windows 7 over there.

Windows 7 Week Day 2: Get Those Features On XP/Vista

Ever since Windows 7 beta came out, there were features and little programs that everyone wanted to use on XP or Vista or rather some people created the software equivalents for people to download and use.  To keep things simple, I point you to the various websites that describe the software packages and how to set them up and save a bit of time from reading to much about them.

Ballmer: Stay on Windows XP and You Will Face a Backlash

With Windows 7 quickly on the move with the RC1 release, it would seem that the Golden Boy of Microsoft, Ballmer says “Suffer the Backlash if you still use XP when Windows 7 comes out” ( big scary voice) .  Ballmer get off your horse because your on the way of making Microsoft the laughing stock if Windows 7 tanks and if it does, expect for the stocks to fall fall fall.  We  are aware of your corporate take overs of companies and stuff like that and so it is …

Well to toss a little update to this worm, it would seem that USB flash drives add more to the difficulty of this worm, now it goes after anything with autoplay or autorun.  Which means every time you plug in a flash drive you are in line of getting your computer infected with this virus, of course they don’t make clear if the USB drive has to be infected in order for this virus to be installed or it waits for a USB drive to be plugged in and you …

Well there is another fast and up and coming virus on the world computer networks but it would seem that this virus could be a dud or so people thought thus the confusion with this worm. The work has other alias’s which include Downadup and Kido and as for the package that it delivers it would seem to be a rather disturbing one or common attacks you chose, but it disables the following services: Windows Automatic Update, Windows Security Center, Windows Defender, and Windows Error Reporting. However, that …

Another interesting article I came across today thanks to digg and it would seem that the points are right and I would think most people would agree with them even though this is in the eyes of an Apple user.

Surprise they didn’t make a larger list by a few thousands anyways here we go.
20. DriveSpace
For you experienced Windows 95 users might remember this device as it was used as a compression agent, but if you like me and barely remember windows 95 then yeah this is meaningless feature.
19. Windows Movie Maker
I seen it maybe open it once or twice but I never really use it, but from the description it was just as worthless as well. A phrase comes to mind companies build something they think we want …

C:\Windows\winsxs or Click My Computer > C:\\ > Windows > winsxs.
For the few vista users that are on here on the forum, do wonder why your hard driver seems to be shrinking even though you know darn well all the stuff you have installed hasn’t blown through gigs of space? Well I did because at first I though it had to do with a memory issue that SP1 was suppose to fix, but after running the Disk Analyzer to Glary Ultilities I finally found the culprit as why this was …
